Don’t worry, you’re in the right place. My name is Sam Calvo and I organize these meetups.

We meet sporadically at local libraries around Seattle as a time for quiet, concentrated writing, as well as a place to meet beta readers, critique partners, and other aspiring writers.

Come fix your writer’s block, meet other writers, or get inspiration to start something new! All writers welcome!

How Our Meetups Work

First: we start with introductions around the room (name, what you write, what brought you here).

Next: 1 hour of uninterrupted writing time. Use this time to work on anything (novel, poem, journaling, etc…) just as long as you’re writing!

Ending with: dividing into groups and share what you have written (optional!) to get feedback and constructive criticism.
